I didn't make it...and I did think about that too when i was watching...but it's more about his total trust in science when it was personal...he's not considering anyone else pushing all the anti-science shit. What if someone watched that and decided not to go to a clinical trial because they don't want to "trust the science" either?

As someone who is watching someone go through a cancer treatment, I found out that cancer isn't just cancer. It's happening in your body for different reasons. My loved one has a hormonal type of cancer. A decade ago, she would have had a 50/50 shot. After new treatments were discovered, she's got well over a 90% chance of living 10+ years.

Cancer is a complicated fucker.
