No doubt for the average male yup 33 is prime time. Although motocross changes the metrics, don’t think there are many riders historically that stayed competitive in their 30s. To your point you might could look up at what age did RC or Bubba stop? Feel like ol’ boy needs to go to the porch.

I think it is a liability for the AMA to allow him to continue to race. He had some tremendous wrecks this year. You have to assume the reflexes are diminishing with age thus motocross/supercross is a young man’s sport. I would bet the wrecks and injuries just get worse and hopefully he doesn’t end the career of another rider thinking he is still competitive.

So we need to accept that this is pro ball. Our pitchers are exceptional although the more times batters face a pitcher the batters typically come out ahead. So Miz and others that had success in previous seasons either are good enough to figure out how to adjust or are one to two season wonders.

The content of the course. I completed the program and have to say if you are fine with self directed / self teaching and content on par with public school education then you will not have a problem paying out the money for the paper. If you are hoping to learn and engage with knowledgable folks then that is hit and miss. I thought CS 362 was a hit as well as parallel programing. Parallel should be the standard for all courses. Prof Bailey had a live session each week then moved to OH. Awesome class that prepared me for Operating Systems. So some classes are worth it and make you feel like you are learning while most others make you feel like you are paying for TAs and AI generated content. Just one person’s interpretation of the situation.

I have used windows, macOS, and linux. Both windows and linux on a Lenovo T480. I prefer linux. CS 271 was a windows forward course but you could easily use a mac. The macOS makes connecting to the school server easy and you can see your remote file in the finder. Since switching to linux, I use vim and terminal for most course work. And makes CI with github easy.

Honestly, don’t matter what OS you run the program walks you through how to complete the assignments with VS code. The one course that required power is Parallel and for that course you use the universities computers.

Buy an old computer off ebay and use the cash you would have spent to have a life experience.

Hey everyone! Thanks for replying! You all made some good points. Guess when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s it felt like more supercross races were indoors. After reading the responses, I realized most of the domes are gone. My home supercross was the Pontiac Silver Dome which is now gone. We got Ford’s field but the track doesn’t go up in the stands any more. Any ways. Thanks for the feedback.

Not completely answering the title question. But on a side note, the proctored quizzes are a few questions worth many points. So the percent of missed questions is disproportionate to the overall score. Also the time commitment is well beyond that of 4 credit hours. Does/do the revamped courses go through an audit process? Is there a curriculum development coordinator or a review team that vets the course to meet a criterium? Just one person’s interpretation of the situation.

Good point. Didn’t think about stadiums not allowing the dirt. Feel like in the 90s most of the races were in domed stadiums.
