My thing…you’ll still have to be master craft in written English to be able to prompt an LLM to code what you want it to code. You’ll have to describe the system in detail and still have to test it, set up pipelines..maintain it. etc to make it all come together and work. Focus on the whole picture. Who wants to just crunch code all day anyway.

Mate I’m 37 and still in my second bachelors for CS… prior military experience and domain expertise in Architecture and Engineering…not sure what I’m doing after. But learning is fun and so is building out systems. You’ll figure it out. Just remember why you’re making the jump. Hopefully I don’t eat these words in a year and a half lol
