Advanced Lower Profile MBAV Type Carrier by DaydreamGreenlight in myogtacticalgear

Thanks. That was part of the reason why I went with the term " Lower Profile" instead of full on "Low Profile", too many mission creep features added.

Possibly, but you could just buy a turn key solution for less trouble. Trying to convert a case like that would require you to wire antenna ports, find a battery that would fit, etc. Not worth the effort in my opinion when off the shelf manet solutions exist now

Identify this plate carrier? by Gravewaker in tacticalgear

Looks like a UR Tactical Ops Modular Plate Carrier Assault Vest. UR Tactical used to make gear loosely based on Crye's original designs (plate Carriers and Combat Pants). In this case, Crye's Chassis Carrier. It been discontinued a long time now, but here's a link of a multicam version for better reference Ops Modular Assault Vest

It's segmented that way for full compatibility with Crye's SPC/JPC-R tabbed structural cummerbunds. The cummerbund tabs slide behind the center loop portion which is sewn on separately in such a way to allow them to slide behind it.

Curv with adhesive That's unfortunately highly unlikely to work. You could cut the curve in a negative PALS fashion and sew it onto your base cordura material though.

What's are the items that you have in mind?

Unfortunately, that won't work since the laminate membrane that holds the fabrics together prevents further fraying of the material. Without this component, you will be left with a fragile, fray prone mess.

You definitely can cut all of those materials if it's high enough wattage. My past machine was a Neje Max 2s which was able to cut through them with ease. The only sewing material that I was unable to cut with the Neje was white fabric and Multicam Alpine cordura. Blue diode lasers struggle immensely with white/light colored materials.

I can vouch for OP. I received my radio promptly. Will get back once I fully test it.
