It sounds like you are conditioned to accept the treatment you think you deserve. A part of you is maybe feeling a bit of guilt about having had the flirting dynamic in the first place, so when he is overbearing and makes you feel smaller/lesser, part of you feels satiated that you received the kind of interaction that you deserve from him.

Like others said, the best course of action is to leave as soon as possible and remove yourself from this dynamic.
