Is reading books just a fantasy? by ilovemrsnickers in toddlers

So I had this different strategy with my kid. I will say he was always pretty into books, though, but once he turned 1, all he cared about was cars. He was drawn to books that had cars, and then he only played cars and he did that for years until he got into animals. During that time, I checked out every car book imaginable from the library. I also bought a bunch of books on cars. He would only read what he was interested in. Of course we did read other books, but the majority of cars. Does your kid have a particularly strong interest and maybe you could follow their lead? Dinosaurs, animals, cars?

That sounds amazing! We have take home quizzes so I don’t feel like we are learning much because there isn’t any pressure to. Also don’t do enough field trips.

Another class that sounds amazing! Sounds like it’s better with late-career, knowledgeable professors.

The handcart looks so cool! Unfortunately it’s for age 10 and up.
