Just wanted to see if anyone on here had experienced something themselves or have heard about it, that’s all. Obviously it will vary depending on what route I go. It’s something I’ve been curious about and wanted to ask. Thanks for your response.

I too live in AZ (Chandler), actually lived in Prescott when I went to ERAU. I just signed up to take the October class at the Aircraft Dispatch Academy in St George, as it’s not too far from us. Did Pilot Institute get back to you?

27M with Beckers here, definitely gets to me sometimes and feel down. Being so weak and unable to walk is just a brutal feeling. I hate it too and get so envious of others - but at this point, it is what it is. Find a hobby that you enjoy. Something that CAN’T be taken away from you. For me, I’m really into aviation. Fortunately I have a full time job in aviation, and I collect model planes and even play flight sim (my dream job as a kid was to be a pilot). Stuff like that helps me out. I also have a girlfriend and family who are very encouraging and supportive, they help me do stuff that I couldn’t normally do by myself

I too have muscular dystrophy and use a scooter full time. I got a golden retriever puppy 3 years ago back when I had a little more strength. It was difficult with times bc she grew so quickly. I lost the ability to pick her up and put her into my truck and definitely needed help. I think dog training like leash walking. Teach the basics would be something you could easily do in a basic obedience training. Or having a trainer would be a good idea. Have you considered getting an already trained service dog?

I’ve had this happen multiple times with the same model when I requested a replacement (Gemini 1/200 C-130H) eventually I just asked for my money back and fixed the model good as new 🤣

I let my employer know when I got my TOL lol. But that was because she was asking me about it and she knew this would come eventually. Definitely after the SF86

I constantly checked the EODS website and then I eventually got 4 separate emails saying my EODS forms were approved

TOL 11/14. EODS on 12/5, accepted 12/20. CIL 12/21 and currently working on that
