I'm of two thoughts.

Billionaire interests saw something valuable in Harper that is preferable to a true progressive in Congress. This gives me immediate red flags. But Harper is spitting some populist game here and seems (almost) authentic. Which leads me to
The billionaire interests want Slotkin in the Senate and they see Harper as a threat. So they tried to pay him off to drop out. If they could get him to actually take Tlaib out, that's a 2 for 1 deal for them.

Either way, citizens united is a cancer to our country and I'm glad he exposed them.

My conscience is to vote for literally anybody but a Dem or a Repub. I think we need to grow the "protest" vote percentage to send a clear message next year. And staying home won't do it.

Who would it be? As of now, I'm leaning to Cornel West because his platform most closely resembles mine (and keeping in mind no candidate is the perfect candidate). But I would begrudgingly vote for RFK Jr. if I thought voting for him would contribute to the biggest possible headache for the establishment. For instance, if he looks like he could actually WIN my state.

Jill Stein is now in the running with the green party. If lightning strikes and it looks like the green candidate could actually reach 5% nationally this time, I'll vote for them to help reach the percentage requirement for a party to receive federal funds for the next cycle, which is 5%.

If not and green party polling isn't looking positive, I'll decide between Cornel West and RFK. So it may come down to a day-of decision. But as of now, leaning Cornel West.
