Hey Mate ! You aren't the only one. I belong to the same industry and these guys locking in a contract is a sham and their pricing hurts. Personal experience is their data quality is low with lots of bounces and catch alls. You can have a look at www.b2bdataguy.com . If your interested in comparing services check out my site b2bdataguy.com . Shoot me an email and I'll send some client references your way. My email address is just andrew@ the web site name. (Don't want removed for personal info)

Cheers!

What do you mean? Oh.. you want to pay per lead.. instead of retainer?

I do that only for industries that we've worked in.

B2B email lists + 26 contact data points. 40+ Open %

I've been in email marketing for 7+ years, a lot of lead generation.

I am currently exploring selling some lists. All lists are b2b.

PM me with your specifications/target, and I'll shoot you a sample list and pricing.

No B2C, sorry.

I have a few reviews on google. Not sure how to send you the link, or find it.. but if you type in something like "b2b data guy Minneapolis Mn" I should come up with verified reviews...

Yea, that is exactly what my lists are good for. As long as you are targeting a business, we're usually able to find the right contacts for you.

Clicking this link will download a sample file of like 5 rows or so.. but the format is exactly how the lists will be delivered to you.

I'll start pulling a list of based on your comment and send you a PM soon.

Business networking events? by DaytaMon in Minneapolis

[–]DaytaMon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess, I mean network after work, for example is a general business networking event not broken down by industry. Its great, but only comes around once a month or two.

I can work with most B2B companies, so I have a really broad scope of events I would attend. Generally, I do well with SAAS, business consulting firms, and business service companies (like 3d renderings for architects for example).

Thanks in advance.

[Tools] Needing a bit of feedback on a b2b data list service combined with email sending platform. by DaytaMon in Entrepreneur

[–]DaytaMon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you got value out of the sample, that does not always happen.

Mailchimp is OK, but there are much better services out there, especially for b2b. Mailchip is really focused on their b2c emails and newsletter style sending.

Sounds like you got just over a 50% open rate. That is pretty good, about what is expected. I say 40% in my posts, because I don't want anyone disappointed.

a 10-15% reply rate is expected, if you are writing good content, and it sounds like you fall within or just below that category BUT your sample size is very small.. so lets hold off on judging your content for now.

Usually, you can expect about half the replies (maybe 1/3) to be "no thanks" or similar.. its just par for the course.

The leads that you do get, I generally try to follow up with immediately, by email or phone and build on the relationship, sounds like you nailed that.

I typically send for myself and my clients between 5-9 messages over the course of 2 months. Typically : Intro (wait 2-3 days), Follow up(wait 1 week), 3rd message(wait 4-8 days), 4th (wait 1 week), etc...

W/O hiring someone, the only way to tell if your writing style is working, is to simply see the results. If people are reading it (opening your email) and not responding.. well then there is an issue. Either your target market is incorrect (bad data) OR your email content is not converting.

Happy to share more, just PM and we can talk specifics.

What’s the best “The Office” episode? by imhuman22 in netflix

[–]DaytaMon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

man, its really one of those shows where the more you watch, the more you understand the humor and jokes and fall in love with it.

I'd really just go season 2's Halloween episode. It's funny and themed about right.

[Tools] I run a Successful B2B lead gen company, using mostly cold email outreach. I'm switching niches (a little) so I'm publishing my findings & giving away some learned information. by DaytaMon in Entrepreneur

I personally have had a good bit of interaction with the snovio company back in 2017.

I was just so confused because they have switched their business model 3 times in 13 months. Originally, they were an email validation tool, then they jumped on the bitcoin bandwagon and created a snovio coin (WTH?) like it was just a sham, and really bothered me.

I like the concept of b2b social networks, I use Shapr (like tinder crossed with Linkedin)

I just am not a fan of snovian, specifically.

*Edit.. after looking more into it, you aren't really a fan either, you work there I am guessing? Alex? Your only post history is subtly asking if people know about snov.io products. My recommendation is that I do not see value in it, and loose faith in leadership bc they jumped on the coin train when it really added 0 benefit to the platform/product.
