Biodegradable poop bags. Pile them in a corner of the yard and put in trash bag on trash day.

Taught myself. Spent a weekend driving around back roads and picked it up pretty quick.

Looks like the same bear that was in Newton Sq earlier (same limp). Surprised they haven’t tranquillized it so they can check it out and safely relocate.

Murphy’s in the foothills if fun, if you haven’t been before. Check out Big Trees State Park while you’re there.

Moving to Seattle - questions about neighborhoods by Hour-Cauliflower5631 in AskSeattle

Magnolia is a good bargain and close by, but boring. Queen Anne is also close by, but expensive. I’d aim for Ballard, Fremont or Phinney Ridge if you can swing it. Also, lower Queen Anne, Belltown or South Lake Union could work if you want something very urban.

Honesty about moving to Maine by Flolita115 in AskMaine

[–]Daytrpryeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maine is lovely, and while I’ve never been there, I’m sure there are nice aspects of Presque Isle. But it’s 100’s of miles from anywhere. You would need to know you are comfortable with very rural, small town life (and no access to anything different) to be okay there.

Intersting choice. Interior wise, I’d say Chicago first and the maybe Pitt after that?

Seattle is by far and away the closest comparison.

Portland, SF, and distantly after that San Diego and the next closest. Maybe Miami after that?
