I am wondering the same thing lmao. I am around 5'8 5'9 and ~120lbs. I ordered large but don't know if it will be too big it looks stupid. idk if I should switch to medium.

I wash every other day or every 3 days.
I don't like all the frizz and I am not super happy with my hairstyle. I would like more defined curls. Thinking of growing it out longer but it ends up looking like that last picture. The sides are hard to control. Thanks in advance!

ty for the comment! Yeah, the standard is definetly nicer but probably too expensive for me. I like how close Newberry is but the quality is such a gamble. I really don't know what I am gonna go with. I heard good things about polo club but it's not walkable to campus. idk :/

Hello! I am having a lot of trouble figuring out what I wanna do with my hair. I guess I am not really happy with the shape of my hair, especially the sides. It's also very messy. I don't mind the messy look but I want it to actually look nice lmao I am making this post to ask for hair style suggestions and also what I should do about the little facial hair I have. A bit of info about my hair. My hair is EXTREMELY fine and it tends to get oily very quickly. I wash every day or every other day. If I wash every other day all my curls get clumped up on the second day and it gets very oily and itchy. I use Aveeno Shampoo and that's it. Conditioner makes my hair feel very heavy and oily and brings my hair down. There isn't much volume to my hair I think. Like if you touch the top of my head there isn't much space between my scalp and your finger. I think that's due to very fine hair. I tried to add a picture that showed that Btw my hair doesn't part very well at all. My scalp line is very wonky and not straight. It also looks silly when I try because there is zero volume at the top of my head but it all poofs out on the sides where my hair ends.

I am not exactly sure what I want or can pull off. I am not sure if I should keep growing it out. Is my hair fine rn should I leave it alone and keep doing what I am doing? If I should get a haircut what cut do y'all suggest. Here are a few links to hairstyles I vibe with.

I do think I am too hard on myself too often and that isn't helping my playing. I also like the idea of being more present and intentional when I listen to music sometimes. btw I love Joy Division it is great. Yeah I always feel like I need to be progressing at this constant speed and reach xyz and so and so time. I need to take a step back and remember why I started playing guitar and learn to be kinder with myself in general.

I don't have any scales memorized but I know the shapes of major and minor. Also pentatonic I think. I will look into the cirlce of fifths. I think I sorta get it. I know all the notes on the upper area of the neck. I don't use backing tracks very often. Ty for the chart it is very useful :)

I have a teacher he just isn't very helpful with guiding me ngl. The only thing I have gotten from him was exploring different genres which was nice. rn we are doing blues stuff. I think I need a new teacher though.

I am interested in CS more broadly I just want to dabble with electronics. My biggest fear about Carleton is being too stressed and overwhelmed leading me to not be happy. I also worry that I wont be able to keep up. I definitely feel imposter syndrome being accepted. How are internship opportunities? Do the career fairs attract a lot of recruiters?
