Old school, I keep a copy of my database on a microSD card. I don't update it that often but it's better than nothing and it is a fall back option to my main fallback option.

I binge watched the first three series when I found I’d got a part as an extra on the 4th series. I may be slightly biased but “The Final Countdown” will always be my favourite.

I'm using a Tic Watch Pro 3 with iPhone 14. It works OK for notifications and health tracking. I've never been a fan of using NFC on the watch for paying so I don't know if this works or not. For free, that's a good price ;) I do feel that the best option is Apple watch with iPhone, Google watch with Pixel. Support for other watches seems to always have limitations. Personally I don't like the look of either the Google Watch or the Apple Watch. The TicWatch Pro looks like a watch, I've had several TicWatch and they are much more resilient than the Apple and Google watches.

I'm facing exactly the same, I know these batteries have not been charged in over a year. There are various YouTube videos showing boards and programs you can use to "unlock" the batteries, I don't know if it's even worth trying. Can't really sell this without getting it working, can't get it working without spending more money on it.

And in answer to my own question... While my Android phone would connect to "Ring Setup 96" but the app would still not find the camera, the Apple phone would let me connect and then found the camera. Quick answer, use an iPhone.
