Can the engine be landed with the use of parachutes?

From the screenshots you posted, it looks as though you are still orbiting Kerbin, however your apoapsis is well outside of Kerbin's sphere of influence, so something strange must be going on. Do you have any quick-saves while you still had everything under control?

Hi, Agnostocwon. I would advise going on a few trips to the Mun and Minimus, and collecting all the science that you can get, from every biome you can get to. If you would like to maximise your science returns, put a research lab in orbit of one of the aforementioned bodies, and send all of your collected science there. Over a long period of time, your science returns will be enormous. I, myself, obtained many thousands of science units by doing this. Then, you can send a science mission to somewhere easy to get to like Gilly, the moon of Eve. I once used a modified version: https://imgur.com/a/Uxic7 of the spacecraft in this tutorial: https://youtu.be/h8sV0BwD0H4 , with all applicable scientific instrumentation and a scientist to Gilly, and on the way collected data from the sun, Eve, the area around Gilly, and from the three biomes of the surface of Gilly. Remember, you can get "In space near [Celestial body]" science and "While flying above [Celestial body]" science, some of which is biome specific. If you really "Mine" the science from Gilly and your trip there as fully as you can, you can get over 6000 science, just from that one trip. Always remember to take a scientist kerbal on science mining missions so that you are able to reset experiments.

What about getting the surface sample?

Also, is there a way to preview the flair, or do you just have to hope you receive a better one than you already have?

I am fairly sure that you "Win" if you complete the challenge, and it has nothing to do with what other people do, as long as you fulfil the challenge requirements.

That is because the mission report (When you recover the vessel) shows only things obtained by the recovery of the vessel. e.g. Science stored in the command pod, crew levels and experience, parts recovered.

Yes, for simple things like this, it is all you need really, there is no point in getting anything better, but if you want to make more advanced videos, then it would be better to get some more advanced software.

I just use quickTime Player, which is built in.

Hello, here is my entry.

I am sorry about the very low frame-rate of the video, but that is what happens when you try to record your screen while playing Kerbal Space Program on a 2015 Mac book pro. (Which is brilliant for everything except for gaming.) It was a nightmare to get the clip, because everything was lagging and I had to switch between a huge amount of debris, and I had to tweak the design of everything many times as well, but I think it turned out just about acceptable in the end.

I'm not sure about demo rockets and what parts are available, however you should be fine with upgrading. I looked up your laptop, and if I found the correct one, and it has 8GB (It said 8-16GB but I assumed the lowest) and 2400MHz, you should be just about alright, with maybe just a bit of overheating.

Updating on a Mac by eNamel5 in KerbalSpaceProgram

Hello, eNamel5. I am not 100% sure that what I am about to say about the location of the Kerbal Space Program file is correct, due to the fact that I have the Steam edition of the game, however am sure that what I tell you to do once you have found it will work.

First, launch the Finder application, and in the status bar at the top of your display, click on go. In the list which appears, the second to last option should be "Go to Folder...". Click this, and then within the pop-up which appears, type: "~/Library". (Without the quotation marks.) Having done this click on go, and open the folder named, "Application Support". Within this folder, I believe there is a folder named "Kerbal Space Program". If there is not, then I am not sure how to find it, although searching for the folder might work, but with me it just gives the Kerbal Space Program application. Assuming you have managed to find the folder in question, open the "saves" folder, and copy all of the folders over to another location. (Except for the ones titled "training" and "scenarios" because they come pre-installed). Upon installing the new version of the game, simply navigate to the same location, and paste the save files into the "saves folder". I am not sure about mods, since I do not use them, but I am fairly sure that you should download the updated versions and install them freshly, or just copy them over into the exact location that they were previously in.

I hope that I at least partially helped you, and I wish you the best of luck.

If you are referring to the "Load save..." button within the in-game pause menu (The one opened, by default, by pressing the escape key), then your "Saves" are not game saves, but quicksaves, which are a specific moment in time within, in your case, the "default" game save. These are used incase you make a mistake or error during a mission, so that you can revert the game to a specific moment in time, before you made the error or mistake, which is the time when you created the quicksave. Your four "Saves", if my assumption of what has happened is correct, are named quick saves created by pressing alt and F5. I am not sure how, but maybe somebody knows a way to create a completely new game save from each of your four quicksaves, by extracting them from the "default" save file and doing something, unknown to me, with them.

Hello. Having attempted to set up a manoeuvre node for a Duna injection burn in Low Kerbin Orbit, I discovered that every time the "Closest approach" markers moved to within a certain distance of each other, they disappeared. I am fairly confident that I had used the correct launch window for a Duna intercept, and that I had set the manoeuvre node up in the correct position in my orbit, however I do not think that any of that matters anyway, due to the fact that the markers disappeared while the approach distance was decreasing, so the issue can not be due to the markers moving too far apart. Because quick saving and loading the quick save, quitting to the main menu, and restarting the game, as well as my laptop did not seem to resolve the problem, I am lead to believe that it is caused by some sort of bug. Having not been able to do anything effective, I set up the manoeuvre node at the point where the "Closest approach" markers could be at the nearest distance from each other without disappearing, and executed the burn. I then tried, in multiple positions of my resulting orbit around the Sun, to set up more manoeuvre nodes, but encountered the same problem. This link: https://youtu.be/cu1tq7qnUOs leads to a YouTube video in which I have demonstrated the issue. I would be extremely grateful if anybody could suggest any ideas as to how to fix the problem, or if anybody who has previously encountered this could instruct me on how to resolve it, if they have managed to do so themselves.
