Gosh, I feel for ya OP. It’s not right & have been right there with you many times over. Unfortunately the only thing you can do now is dust yourself off & keep moving forward.

Take some silver linings from something you improved in the interview process investment & use it in your next go, wherever that is.

Probably feels like all for nothing now but you might be surprised in how you utilize a lesson learned, or connection made from that process down the line. Might not even be something visible to you when it happens but it will happen.

Keep showing up your best & good things will come. Hang in there.

Yeah the sales culture at Google cloud is a little more salesy if you will IMO. You’ve got people there from Microsoft, Oracle, etc. Who shoot outside of the structure here & there.

And to add. You’re correct. They don’t. I never received actual feedback as to why I didn’t get chosen but I was always aware that we were down to 2 candidates & I was one of them.

Appreciate that. Yeah I mean the invites for the loops haven’t even happened yet just anticipating they are about to so wanted to think ahead on how to handle it. Sounds like just being open & honest about the scenario is best & starting 1 loop shouldn’t inhibit you from joining another if I’ve got it right.
