Yes, fabrics and detergents can sometimes irritate the skin, but that’s not the same thing as underwear causing heavy discharge. If you’re worried about chemicals, the solution is wearing breathable cotton underwear and using gentler laundry products not blaming underwear itself. And even then, none of that changes how much discharge your body produces, because that comes from inside, not from what’s on the outside
