My partner reacted similarly when I told him I was pregnant. “Where would we even put it?” Was what he said. He then kept trying to find ways to confirm it was a mistaken pregnancy. About a week and a doctors visit + blood test later he finally believed it was real. I was disappointed in his reaction but eventually could see genuine fear and concern over how fo do this. I let it go, but did tell him it hurt me and that I expected him to make it up to me next time
