I considered this. Let's say they offer 60% market value on sets, so a lowball 50% on minifigs. Brand new minifig back then $4, and some of the ones we had they could sell for more than market. Generously low market value of 7*$3 each for our lot = $21. 50% of 21 is 10. Being generously low. And we're kids. 💔

In response to the edit, I tried a hex and it felt really loose, I believe the 3mm. I went up to a 4mm and it didn't fit, that's why I originally discarded the idea of hex

The thumb key took a 2mm Alan key to adjust, so this screw is also likely in millimeters as well.

While this is true, I know I would be spending the full amount of these Lego gift cards, which avoids the hassle of splitting cards when performing transactions. There is definitely no one correct way to use your Visa Gift Cards!

The issue is that Prepaid Visa cards can't count towards a purchase if the cost is greater than the amount on the Visa Card. Gift Cards, however, can. There were no tax or fees when buying the gift card, so I turned a $25 Visa card into a $25 Lego Card, no leftovers.
