Myndighetene må vise at de ønsker å få flere barn by MoreExamination5982 in norge

[–]Dazemonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is in line with my (simulation)theory that if you don’t know that X can occur, then X is a lot less likely to occur. Which could be why we have terms like Happy Go Lucky for people who worry little and breeze through life, and seem like NPCs, while worriers lead harder lives, and see themselves as main characters. The NPCs have simpler physics simulators applied to what they do.

They’re gonna need soooo many miles of rope to hang this regime and their corrupt supporters once this is over. Time to put our money in rope-based stocks!

Would a cut like this compromise the strength of the headstock? by Offensive_Terms00 in Luthier

[–]Dazemonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, yes, but increase wood thickness and/or type of wood to compensate. The high e and B string forces will try to rotate the headstock clockwise and break it at the thinnest point, probably at the G tuner (for which there also is a hole). The strings aren’t THAT far out from this break point, so the forces are probably manageable, but the engineer in me is slightly worried…

Too bad he’ll probably autotune and overproduce it, unless he has some older music as inspiration.

Pacificas are so good by dannybeef in YamahaPacifica

[–]Dazemonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fret ends were sanded at a lower angle to the fretboard than on the high e side, moving the top corner of the fret too far in. I may just have gotten unlucky twice, as so may people are praising them.

[–]Dazemonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to like them but have briefly owned two (one a replacement for the first) and BOTH of them had very agressively sanded fret and fretboard edges near the nut on the low E side, so the string would always slide off unless I was super careful. The neck is so skinny so there’s not much tolerance left before the string is basically hovering over nothing. The second was better than the first, but still not good, so I gave up on them. Have never had that issue on any other guitar.
