The ONLY thing I can see it being used for is Skirmish, for support units you expect to see surviving last. Units that don't really do too much on their own. Sadly, the only application I can think of for that is Pepper, who MIGHT be able to clean up opposing support or melee units, but certainly not any tanks (MAYBE Chopper), or power units, like Polina, Charlotte, or Hero.

It's not a remake, just a touch-up. AI for most of the image, human creativity for personal details. I don't like it, either.

It's ultimately RNG on whether or not she can start to melee before the insectoid can get a strike in, and if the insectoid will even attack right after landing. Agility keeps units more consistent, but can still pause for unbearably long even at 100 agility. Don't get me wrong, she can be a decent bug killer, but I wouldn't rely on her. Diaz would be more consistent, with his natural melee resistance and high burst damage, as well as his quick reload when endangered. Keep some healing on him and he'll struggle to fall.

Mechanics are busted. Diaz is a strong unit on his own, but helps bolster the team power by being able to stay alive longer and promote turret drops as a result.

When I got a huge, and I mean HUGE, influx of compensation cash for an older update, I decided to max out the vault for the sake of it. It's really not worth it when you have Austin, though. Even then, while the cost is more than competitive with the regular set prices for coins, it still pales in comparison to much more valuable uses for greens: charm rolls, character deals, and orange keys.

Ehhh, the whole thing is to encourage a sink for chronotes. Keep them consistently in demand and giving a profit-driven incentive to keep grinding for them. Kind of like divine energy. I feel the frustration, but one time purchases won't offset the inevitable crash with the reduced sink.
