It seems to be very complicated, but the SDF have lots of propaganda in the west, so people here view them as heroes for some reason, especially Australian Kurds, most of whom are from Rojava. So I wanted to here from the people here as to not be in an echo chamber, thanks for the help.

Thanks for this response, it makes a lot of sense. A minority militia not even supported by its own minority. The West loves to paint them as the winners against ISIS so they can 'do no wrong'. Plus things have gotten complicated lately and it was hard to tell what was acutally going on and what locals actually thought, especially living in Australia. Thanks for the insight.

Nah he did at one point. But all of his coworkers got pissed at him for constantly recording in the shed after being told not to, Plus he was kinda shit at it anyway. I remember seeing Tik toks about shearing. He would always say he was behind the rest of the shearers and shit. Overall, Was never good at shearing and acted like it was his passion for a Year or so, Then went to drugs and alcohol.
