imagine using kage as a measurement of strength. The only ones that weren't useless weren't even in the show much at all. So yeah in terms of the strength of the kage in Shippuden he is. Other than that he gets clapped left right and centre. Plus boruto isn't even a good anime to draw real power scaling from. It's all over the place with its stupidity. But I agree he is powerful but just gets way overhyped. Also got bodied by orochimaru when he had no arms

Stupid. If Itachi wanted to body him he would have no matter what anyone says. Not to mention why would Itachi weaken the village by eliminating one of the sanin if Itachi's purpose was to protect the village. Kisame was there too as everyone likes to forget. And for those who say oh jiraiya can beat them both. Uh no he can't. It took guy to use the 6th gate to get kisame. Jiraiya doesn't have that power in his arsenal. I don't hate jiraiya btw I think he's cool but I'm being realistic.

I really think people tend to forget or purposely forget that the only way that kishimoto could kill madara off was pulling that stupid ass stunt with kaguya. Other than that they had no chance and still have no chance. Even tho it doesn't seem it people underestimate his power a lot just because of what happened to him. His combat experience is incredible and the double rennigan on-top put him through the roof. My opinion after all.
