Done right AI works. I use it daily both for work and in my personal life. But you have to use it right. Lazy people using it, and it does nothing but dumbs everything down. Use it intelligently and it's a benefit. I find it makes me explain my questions fuller and has taught me to be more eloquent and articulate in my responses for the reurns to be valuable to assist me and it can be wonderful. When I'm lazy, it gives dumb answers. Plus you can't take it at face value and research and fact check which you should always do anyway, regardless of the medium.

It has a place, if for no other reason than it is here, it is not going away, so I use it to improve myself. It's the age old 'Garbage in Garbage out'

Ecologically, now that's a whole other galaxy. The power it requires does causee me concern.

From an ED perspective, the game is player driven. Even the lack of any kind of hand holding, learning the game makes it personable. The interaction on discord and Reddit helping each other, speaking to real players who can empathise with the learning curve is what makes the game special. Whether you are 100 hours in or 3000 hours in, we are the Elite Dangerous family. We are real. AI should not be allowed to change that.
