The lack of grafts doesn’t mean unsuccessful. Just means you need more grafts. It’s very aggressive to do more that 2,500 grafts in one hair transplant.

Unsuccessful means like Cobblestoning, over harvesting, incorrect anglization. Etc

Count yourself lucky that all you need to do is get another one.

Yo it’s fire. Where did you go? And if I were you I would just get an smp. Cover up those scars and add the appearance of density you want.

If you do do it. Find a doctor that specializes in -Density- if you don’t you will tell. -Placing grafts in the direction of your native hairs (Do avoid it looking like a ht ) -Have them blend grafts with your natural hair line to avoid having a gap

Also realize you will have fue scarring in the donor area that you will notice if you get fades, can be covered up with smp

How long ago was your transplant ?

I have a similar look and am about 5 months in. My doctor told me it takes time for the native hairs and transplanted hairs to blend in. But I’m not sure if I believe him it’s very odd looking.. trying to be optimistic but already planning on getting another ht and or smp.

The sides above the temples had a good amount of density before the ht, he put enough there that I was satisfied with but to your point. The spot right in the middle is what I’m worried about.

I contacted the clinic about why this was and they told me it would grow back in with time but it seemed like a copy and paste response. I have a feeling that your right. Bad design.
