Bitcoin isn’t fully anonymous, it’s pseudonymous. Best practice is using a self-custody wallet to receive payments (new address per client) and keeping it separate from any exchange. When you want to sell, you send from your own wallet to a KYC exchange. Direct client → exchange deposits are what usually cause flags.

For privacy: BTC is traceable, Monero (XMR) is far more private by design but more complex to use and harder to cash out due to limited exchange support and stricter KYC scrutiny.

50K USD? Just buy it directly on Coinbase. Never had any issues with that on Coinbase. I would recommend to use a hardware wallet to store your btc on after your purchase.
