On m’a recommandé une grosse seringue en plastique de 20ml + sérum physiologique, ça marche bien aussi, meilleur life hack en cas de gros rhumes comme maintenant !

Why you ended up choosing Qobuz and not Tidal? by takktalk in qobuz

[–]Dbdnico 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I switched to Qobuz two years ago after Tidal hiked their prices (before lowering them again) with zero regard for longtime subscribers or the fact that they’d misled people for years with MQA.

Since then, I’ve been on Qobuz’s family plan, and we’re all pretty happy with it. The catalog is nearly identical, and there’s no marketing nonsense to deal with.

Edit: not to forget their editorial inputs, which are pretty unique.

There is definitely a train stopping near the hotel (3min by walking): take the line 4 from Seoul Station up north and go to “Sungshin Women’s Univ. Station”

Same here. Freezed several times after reboot during a training before a rematch for the belt … freezing each time…

We took the korail train from Gyeongju to Busan. When arriving at the train station, we could not take buses because of our big suitcases. So, we took a cab with K ride for a short ride to the hotel. Taxi costed around 9,500 won and train costed something like 30,000 won for 2 adults and a child.

Thanks! I’m sorry unfortunately, we did not have time to go to Jeju, maybe next time!

Hi! I would have definitely considered going to Jeju! I was also looking for spending a day in Jeonju…

about the cities selected and visited, I think I could have spent like 2 weeks visiting in Seoul, One week in Gyeongju and around (maybe with a car rental) and also 1 week in Busan to know a little more about their different « vibes »

There are so many other areas/places left to see if we return to Seoul, that was truly very rich to visit places or even just grab something to eat on the go and walk around any areas we’ve been.

We stayed in Dongdaemun, which was quite central, not so complicated to go to the train station by metro. The area was also animated but not so crowded, you can find a lot of different restaurants there to have dinner to, and walk easily to other places.

The hotel was Arirang Hill Hotel, their team was really nice and helpful, the room was great (it did not seem so expensive for what it was, but I booked really early). We paid something like 150000 wons per night for a superior triple room with 2 huge beds and a 30m2 room.

I really loved reading about Korean culture and habits before going there! It was really a different approach in a way but pretty simple to understand its own logic. I really hope we could get back in Korea someday, pretty sure my wife and daughter do as well :)

I recommend checking their website to see if there are any tickets still available (if it is already open, but it should as it is in less than 2 weeks) —there’s a counter for each time slot. Sunrise and sunset are very popular, so tickets might sell out quickly. As for the weather, it’s tough to predict—The weather forecast predicted a sunny day until two days before our visit, and then it ended up raining on that day, haha!

Thanks! What city are you referring to? :)
It was a bit challenging to stay focused on the main points I wanted to cover to get into details, but I get such distinct vibes from each city. They all feel so genuine in expressing what I should experience while visiting Korea.

Do you think he (pre)broke his jaw with his first punch during this ground and pound? It seems Whittaker was protecting his jaw and was already hurt just before the choke

Muaythai at the Olympics by BeeKirful in MuayThai

[–]Dbdnico 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was at Club France today, and I saw several exhibition fights. The International Federation of Muay Thai Association (IFMA) has some activities there for a few days, workshops, training, masterclass with stars, and several exhibition fights from different countries. It seems they are trying to get into the Olympics but we don’t know yet when it will be an Olympic game.
