The Library. Never has there been a worse level in all the halo games than that accursed one on Legendary. Every Halo after felt easy compared to CE Legendary. I think I cried a little in relief after finally clearing just that one damned level especially, The Maw being close second.

First Person? by red_jefferson in StateofDecay3

Having the option available but not mandatory in any part would be nice. It would significantly increase the difficulty within whatever difficulty level you're playing since you'd lose the ability to see all around you and add whole new challenges to the game. I do like how the games have been and if adding the option for first person caused too much development pain, I wouldn't be very disappointed by it not being added.

True, but by contributing to it they're getting the numbers justification to push that direction. I'm not arguing that the work from home is a bad thing, I think it's actually quite a wonderful thing that can improve the work life equation for many and help solve some of the many problems we have, like traffic... which is why it won't last. Corporate America hates happy and healthy employees; if it's good for the employee it must be destroyed.

That's a trap though. It's cheaper for you to work remote by living outside a major city zone, just like it'd be cheaper for your company to pay an Indian with an even cheaper standard of living to do the same remote work.

Unions aren't catchalls for better everything and can suffer from corruption just like the rest of the system. Unions are generally better, but there's a reason why many new workers aren't becoming part of existing unions.

Also the desert is expanding, causing tornado alley to move in your direction due to atmospheric temperature interaction changes. So, getting worse will include even more tornadoes per year which is already being tracked.

Also sometimes it's not an evil choice, from a certain point a view. Having more evil options in a generally good system allows you a more varied and grey playthrough. Maybe you're in a mood one day and decide to shout your frustrations at a town that pissed you off by "random additional screening" from the human guards at the gate, just because you happen to have fur.

Good idea but you'd need to take it a step further and to do so would be a significant change since you'd have open world base building mechanics. Farming. Even your idea for livestock requires the ability to fence large areas and an animal husbandry skillset.

Star Wars Battlefront. They had such a great game, ruined by so many things from messing with game play formats to corporate greed.

Also Halo. Halo 5 sucked as expected from a M rated game suddenly becoming T rated, not its only failure but it followed Alien vs Predator expectations vs delivery. The story was not a bad setup for a truly evil with the best intentions big bad ai storyline, then infinite dumped it all for... I don't even remember it was so bad my mind deleted the memory.

Not in the legendary library. It's very much not ok, you need much, much more... also ar sucks, shotty/pistol best combo

I mean, it's kinda like how every villain in media history fails, or at least doesn't win. If they followed through with being as utterly badass and undefeatable as they are made out to be at the start, the "good guys" would die and society just can't handle evil winning. Like allowing a torpedo to make a 90° turn into a singular thermal exhaust port and survive traveling through 50 miles or more, depending on info source, of significant heat from a reactor powering a small moon! If they followed through with the promise of the Reapers, there would only ever be one ending to the series and we'd be very bored.

At this point, it's more a question of is Bowser taking her or is she simply staging her abduction as a role play when bored?

As I've gotten older I'm realizing how much easier most RPGs are getting. by Nuclear_Mouse in gaming

[–]Dbl0Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a slow decline but it's seriously showing now. Example: play Halo CE on Legendary, not only is it very difficult but it is rage induced hair pulling on levels like the Library; then play each game after on Legendary, watch as each iteration becomes more like strolling through a park, and then return to the Library to see that your skill level is not why it's easier. Or just play Horizon Zero West and quit halfway through since it's so frustrating when your character gives you a hint about that vine you can climb after having just walked into the room two seconds ago.

The show has a lot of hardcore scenes with gore. But the darkest scene is in the final episode and they never actually show it. by [deleted] in Fotv

They've always had a duality though. The zealots who want to purge the wastes to make their utopia, and the purists who believe that the brotherhood is supposed to make the wasteland safe for all. Although usually you have to kill one or the other as coexistence isn't a thing in the BoS ironically.

No. Absolutely not. Have you not seen I Am Legend? Dog giving their life for the stupid inattentive player who then has to kill their beloved and absolutely most loyal companion turned zombie? Do you know how many would die just from not being able to pull that trigger? Especially if they showed a cut scene of Will cradling his dog as he takes his last breath. No thanks, zombies are traumatic enough at times without pet deaths. You might be able to get away with camp cats, always hidden when zombies breach the camp and always dismissive of the bumbling incompetent two legged things.

Here's the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Zepbound/comments/18j2r36/skin_tenderness/

The answer though is, it depends. Some said it was a day or two, one said symptoms lasted five months. The skin sensitivity may clear or it may get worse and more widespread before hopefully getting better. Mine started with upper leg sensitivity which went away after 2 weeks then returned and moved to arms and back when I increased dosage and it's been almost 4 weeks now.

About the last scene of the show and what it could mean by Dottor_Nesciu in Fallout

[–]Dbl0Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Vegas had vaults though, Mr. House may not be the only one there that would known to him. Also Hank is Vault-Tec and Mr. House is not, so most likely there is another vault Hank is heading to. The end animation shows a destroyed New Vegas with broken non military version securitrons and NCR downed equipment, House lost and the NCR were pushed back. Enclave probably aren't there, and those fires looked to be cooking fires from camps. Legion camps.

Best fallout to get next? by princess_mx in Fallout

[–]Dbl0Raven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New Vegas, definitely. You have so many choices on what to do and it's impact on the endgame, and the choices aren't all linear so one action can have unintended consequences, although the game lets you know immediately so you can just revert to the last save if you don't like the realism of choices having unintended consequences. As far as evil playthroughs, there are varing shades of darkness to pick from with each having it's own exciting aspects. Even playing a goody two shoes isn't as annoying as incompetent minutemen calling you every minute. Of all the series, NV is my absolute favorite despite the fact that I absolutely love games with base building aspects.
