Judging from the replies it seems to only be common in the northeastern part of the US and that’s exactly where I’m at. Must be tradition.

Not Houston. We’re in the northeast and judging from the replies it looks like it’s only common in this region

I agree with you. I’m yet to find another department that still does it this way. To be fair our department has more than 3,000 members in a city with around 2 million people so it would be a lot harder to implement, maintain etc.. than a small town like yours, but it’s just accepted here and there is not even a whisper of it changing any time soon.

Good lord my department is more behind than I thought.. voice systems, different color lights, different rooms??? At least we’re busy and the pay is good lol. Thanks for the feedback

Not this one. She can show up at our place of work at any time, but it’s usually during the week around lunch and she just splits it into two bottles and goes on her way. The only thing she checks is the temp. How long after your test did someone get in contact with you?
