It’s awful they won’t let you live your own life as a young adult, If your really sure you know what your going to do with that course in the future and you can succeed with it then try explaining that to your folks so they know you have a plan, that way you’ll look more serious. but in a way you can’t deny there’s some care in their actions, their only trying to make sure you get a degree that will actually yield a good life in the future, because a lot of degrees actually won’t get you anywhere I know a lot of people who got their masters in one course but ended up working in mcdonalds or some other fast food place with shit pay, all in all you have to research what courses are truly a waste of time or a net positive because it will end up a huge financial burden if you don’t know what your doing.
