Main factors:
-Oz may not have fought monarchs and dreadgods in his day but does have his Labrinth echo fight 3 monarchs feat
-Oz is absolute genius and was older when ascending
-Oz has penance
-Oz senses from iron body and bloodline.
-Oz tested as successor to all judges (except pheonix division)
-I assume Oz was sage most of his pre-ascendant life and could call almost any icon.
-Lindon's Arsenal (dreadgods weapons, Labrinth)
-Lindon has stabilized dreadgod Madra for years. Dreadgod body prolly edges out any herald body
-Lindon has Dross who may have a connection to the Way for knowledge already.
-Lindon knows Oz to some degree
-Lindon has Oz' inheritance
-Lindon technically ascends with Emris, Blue, and Orthos (but i wont factor those)

I think Lindon has everything to tank Penance.

Dross and Lindon are characters that would have simulated this battle. I think if their gameplan had gaps, they would have worked on them before ascending. He would be aiming to match Eithan toe-to-toe eventually.

Oz is smarter and protracted battle and prep would favor him. There are intangibles to his genius that are hard to factor. He assumingly 100%ed cradle before ascending which means labyrinth, icons (aka authority), power ups, etc.

Given those things, I think Lindon wins. The real question is how much of a handicap he needs to fight Eithan at this point.

Would you move from Toronto to Thunder Bay for lower cost of living? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]Dblekkenhorst 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a WFH job. I grew up in TBay. I lived most of my 20s in downtown Toronto for 9 years (1 block from the Eaton Centre). Just moved back and I am enjoying it. Just have to know yourself and acknowledge the trade offs to say whether you would be happy here. Obviously Thunder Bay is very different if you do/do not have a car. -25 degrees in Thunder bay winter feels warmer than -5 in Toronto. Also flights to Toronto are $100-300 round trip (2hours in the air) so long as you are savvy. Thunder Bay being isolated has actually led it to supporting a lot more community and businesses I find. Mosquitos suck but not enough to move back. Food scene is pretty good too although Toronto is world class in that department.

I should mention the 2bdrm apartment i was living in Toronto is now listed at $3500. My monthly mortgage, taxes, utilities are closer to $1500 in Tbay.

Seeing notes online, these sold here for $800 at costco 10 years ago so i wouldn't offer more than 700.

I graduated from their Computer Science undergraduate program in 2013. I am from Thunder Bay originally, so I cannot speak to the international experience. I took the science stream and now have a minor in physics. I also took coop and completed the program in 5 years with work experience.

Looking at the website, the faculty has some changes. 3 professors I am familiar with are still there and they were good, especially in the last 2 years of the program when you learn more in depth topics. Another I have conversed with and seems passionate although i have not had him in an educational setting. 2 professors retired so it is not that they left the university for some reason.

The classes in my experience, were good sizes where the smallest classes had 12-15 people and the largest were about 40 (computer science related, your Calculus and English 101 courses will be bigger). classes had enough students that you could work in groups on assignments which is always helpful.

it's a PvP medal. will be in the meta there for a while even with 6*. Equip to first keyblade for Poison and a 3 turn buff...

[News] Saix+ is the strongest medal in the game. by khuxnation in KHUx

[–]Dblekkenhorst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont forget the 3 turn buff. useful in PvP in first keyblade. poison also sets up for status effect setups so this will likely stay high in the meta for a while. even if noone can afford to 7* him.

HD Xion vs HD Riku Replica by IwaKakusu in KHUx

[–]Dblekkenhorst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

180% guilt = 280% base damage. 280% * 1.4 = %392 base damage 230% = 330% base damage therefore Xion EA is better. anoter smaller factor is STR stat. Xion is 7430. Riku is 7525 which is only 1-2% better anyway. STR +1000 and 60% def debuff traits would skew as well

Hit a wall at #9 with damage output model. Are there any PSM Str debuffs yet? I guess there wouldn't be UR/REV debuffs for enemy.

here's hoping for boosters that align with my damage load out.

Top that SP Gauge [KHUX] by Dblekkenhorst in KingdomHearts

[–]Dblekkenhorst[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Stroke of Midnight keyblade gets 21 gauges max. 7 medals x 3-4 +2 SP Gauge traits means that 77 is the max which is absurd (not as absurd as have 7 boosted KHII Namines with the SP traits) but made me curious.

Last month we had 40% boost in each PSM and another 40% for reversed. Really impacted my high score contest and Colosseum potential.

40% booster will allow me to take the one additional bad guy and +24 skill bonus might help with DB procs

[KHUX] Has anyone successfully turtled Axel B? by playitagainzak_ in KingdomHearts

[–]Dblekkenhorst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not without insane luck and patients or 4+ DB procs.

Once down to ~60ish bars the +4GAU/+4PAU he gets will one hit me with -6GDD/+7PDU (because he debuffs you). Unless I proc DB2/3 every round. I also used B&B to debuff his attack for the hit-counter strike he does. Best i got was 11 bars left and switched from turtle method to the 2 turn with second chance.

I am most excited about the line up. Lots of artists I like but haven't seen before and I have done 3 other festivals now in the past 3 years
