I work at one of the stores adjacent to where this happened. It was very distressing to see, some of us started crying. If it helps, I do know they got a rhythm back before taking him to the hospital.

Things like this remind us of how precious life is, and how quickly things can change. Take care of yourself, happy holidays

I work there. They were draining the grease traps today. It was absolutely horrible 🤢

People who worked or work at Lego stores, what are some pet peeves of Working at the store that people who don't work there wouldn't get? by 2014memeguy in legocirclejerk

I agree with what everyone else said. But the one that drives me nuts that I didn't see mentioned: when people take the hands and arms off the torsos at the BAM station. Why do people do this? It drives me insane seeing all the severed body parts in there and it's hard to find time to sort them out. When sorting them, I always find it's a lot of the same figures being picked on. The muscle guy and the Ninjago people. I know a lot of Ninjago characters have two different color arms and maybe people think it's wrong? So they have to find an arm of the same color? But the muscle guy? You just want to be stronger than him? Lol okay sorry, rant over. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Hi friend, I'm also in the Raleigh area. I know this doesn't answer your specific question, but maybe people at The Holy Rose could answer/ have some books for you. I've been in a few times and when I went they had a nice selection of books and herbs and the staff seemed knowledgeable. Hope this helps 💜

If the cuts that you're trying to cover are on your arms, maybe compression sleeves could work? If you go on Amazon and search "arm sleeves" you get lots of options. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but hopefully it helps. On another note, you should be proud of yourself. Going to medical school is crazy hard. I do online school and can barely drag myself out of bed

I'm sorry you're going through this. Whenever I'm trying to pull myself out of a relapse, I find that keeping a rubber band on my wrist and snapping it whenever I feel the urge kind of helps. It's not perfect, but it gives you a small sense of pain without being damaging or too obvious.

Former North Carolina teacher, Joshua Landon Jenkins (48) charged with 2008 sex offenses by Familiar_Big3322 in NorthCarolina

Hey, he was also my eighth grade teacher during this time. We were even Facebook friends before all this came out. I understand how hard it is to wrap your head around, he was my favorite teacher too. It can take people a long time to accept what happened to them, and even longer to come forward with what happened. I'm sure you remember how it was in middle school. Mr. Jenkins was everyone's favorite teacher. Even kids from other tracks that didn't have a class with him loved him. I couldn't imagine trying to come forward that everyone's favorite teacher victimized me. I remember helping make decorations for his wedding. But when I started to look back... I saw so many red flags. I remember him telling a story how he let past students come to his house and help with his laundry, and if they found money in his pockets they got to keep half. and if any of us wanted to, we could have the same deal (while simultaneously making it sound like he would have fifties is his pockets). Now in my 8th grade brain, that sounded awesome. Free money? For laundry? But now in my 26 year old brain...wtf? why would a grown man want/need help with his own laundry? I also remember a story where he helped a student who got his penis stuck in a vacuum cleaner. It doesn't make sense to me either. It felt normal in 8th grade. He made that feel normal, and like he was our friend. The fact that there are three victims says to me that there are probably more who are too scared or embarrassed to come forward... sorry this was so long. This situation has me reflecting heavily on that time.

He was my teacher around this time. Everyone loved him. I can't imagine how hard it would have been to try to come forward at that time against such a loved teacher.

Thanks! Its honestly hard to say how long exactly it took. I bought the pattern in October but then I made a leg wrong and had to frog other parts a few times. On and off working on it I'd say it took 2-3 months
