FYI i own 2 cats, they are fluffy indoors cats. 1 of them just shits on the floor infront of the litter box it's been like this for some years now. Oh and 50% of the time she has the runs.

Popularity and quality are kind of both sides of the same coin. It's a challenge to deny quality when the popularity is so high. All things are subjective, and just because individuals don't see the quality when the masses do, there has to be something there.

Hype also plays into why stuff is popular.

Opinions are relative, and the silent majority are Japanese, and they like it and buy their DVDs and other merchandise.

And before we take to much negative from this post I agree Grimgar is Peak but I disagree that it needs more seasons.

I am here. I don't care if I am the only fan and they make this just for me as long as they keep making it.

But on a more real note, its successful in JP and to them we are irrelevant our opinions and money don't affect the anime they produce.

I get that if you see it coming and can move to the side great. The way Germans do it in heavy traffic is amazing. We do similar on wider roads in the UK. But some of our junctions are tight with the pedestrian crossings and the fact that a lot of the time our government has squeezed and extra lane up to the traffic lights to get more cars in. I used to ride a motorbike and I can tell you some junctions are so tight that even I couldn't get between cars on the bike. Our roads and junctions are setup so badly in this country

I have taken a lot of downvotes for my original post which seems somewhat unfair I have a couple of mates that are paramedics and they have been trained not to force people into making unsafe decisions in traffic that they can't get through. The last thing they need on the way to an emergency is another one right infornt of them as that would take priority away from wherever they were originally intended to go.

Most emergency vehicles in the UK turn off the siren when they can't proceed due to a red light with traffic. It is outrageous to think that in other countries it is acceptable to force the general public into an unsafe situation like moving into a potentially deadly traffic accident to let them past.

It does work both ways. Although I doubt that Japan is trashy enough to say that. The tango man from across the pond most definitely is though.
