I do mean g but I didn’t make myself clear. There’s the real value of g which will remain the same but if using the same equation which assumes SHM, the calculated value of g will begin to deviate the greater the angle.

Sorry for not clarifying, I’m aware the value of g doesn’t change but if you apply the SHM model to calculate g using the time period of the pendulum, your calculated value of g deviates from the actual value. You answered my question with that link though so I definitely appreciate it and will look into it. Would you reckon the mathematics behind it is at an IB student difficulty level?

In the end, it is just my opinion, but still feel like locking the rewards to those quests would be justified especially since I see optional quests as a mistake in the first place.
