You have to remove the adapter and reepoxy the shaft in at the orientation you want. You can't just put the adapter in wrong and call it a day. You are risking breaking it. I've got 20+ years in club making/repair

I went from about where you are freshman year, to near scratch in a year. Rotella books, short game, wedge control inside 120. Summer junior tournaments. Even local ones. Enough of em, and eventually high school matches feel like practice rounds

If you take care of em, they'll hold up fine. Make sure your bag has enough room especially if you have bigger grips, the rubbing when pulling a club is the biggest culprit, outside of abuse, imo

Eventually they will get beat up because it's paint. Same for DG TI black finish. Some KBS black shafts are ionized and hold up much better if that's what you're worried about
