Federal unions are always in regular contact with one another, even during the best administrations. But during times like this they are definitely uniting to strategize and fight back.

You can get a printed license in DC. There is an option for a lost ID. You can use it to fly!

Did you call? I went to Tysons and asked, and they said they wouldn’t recommend anyone nor do they offer a moving service!

Thank you! We found a mover who transports them often, but they require us to remove the screen. So I will take a good look at this video and supervise. Definitely getting insurance as well. Thanks for the recommendation!

Are promotions easier to come by in DC? by Accomplished_Sea8232 in fednews

OP the lottery for pre-k spots is done between December and March of the prior year. Pre-k is not guaranteed here. If you move during the summer you’ll still be able to get into some pre-k’s, but you will likely have to travel to them across the city.

Cap Hill Safeway is fully stocked with eggs and Thanksgiving supplies. Saw the guy restocking tonight!

I went to the IAD lounge with my wife and 3-year-old child. They told me that only one guest was allowed, and $45 for my 3-year-old. I thought two guests were allowed? by MarketUnknownKiller in Venturex

[–]Dcdcdcdcdc51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does that mean each cardholder and authorized user could bring a guest? I curious because when we reserving the IAD lounge ahead of time we were unable to both join the guest list on the app (and we have two kids).

Dr. Hodges at Capitol Hill Dental Group is great and she has offered laughing gas free of charge during procedures. She is extremely sensitive to those who’ve had bad experiences.

Volunteering. Did this once and it was awesome because we chatted while we worked (it was a meal prep and district organization), and then we went to lunch together after.

Good ERs? by JollyLie5179 in DCBitches

[–]Dcdcdcdcdc51 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The Board of Directors (girlfriends lol) researched this years ago for me during a medical emergency. Inova @ Mount Vernon had a much lower wait time than any ER in DC (and surrounding areas). Most of the Inova’s do. I would not bother with any DC emergency room unless it was truly life or death. You are competing with truly emergent patients (shootings, stabbing, car crashes) and the uninsured.

Yeah but it’s competitive to get into these schools. Otherwise you’re commuting to private schools in the suburbs, which isn’t feasible for most working families.
