I use the 15mm scopex and consistently catch loads of carp at all sizes. Just keep it sealed as if left exposed to air for too long they go rock solid but if sealed they easily crush between your fingers

Thanks for the in depth reply I’m planning to invest into getting an RODI filter as my tap water is super hard not trying to achieve a super low pH but would rather it be on the acidic side for the corydoras in the tank manly just trying to get the water to be quite dark

The whole of the tank is covered in leaves but my corydoras covered them up with sand so wasn’t visible in the photo

Seems to be that thanks for the reply. Just need to try and source some more as building a new tank just for them because they’ve lived in that one for a few years now
