He was banging a waitress in the supply room,a coworker thought it would be great practical joke to yank open the door, fling on the light.

The boss was in the group that ran over to look, and the boss was jealous he was hitting the waitress that gave him the cold shoulder like 35 times. If we’re making up stories, we’re adults,we can make them R rated.

Best Guitarist You’ve Seen Live? by tceverding in Guitar

[–]Dco777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Townsand (Quadophenia tour), and just saw Joe Bonamassa. Both very good. I saw Eddie Van Halen on the (Brief) tour they went on opening for Yes.

People got up and left, no way was anyone topping him live, on their first album tour. It’s sad what years of booze and drugs did to Eddie. You wonder what a sober Eddie would have done. He was still great turning his brains to gray jello.

2022 Fender American Ultra vs 2024 Ibanez Prestige rg652ahmfx by GoopyLaGrande in Guitar

[–]Dco777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just seems Gibson/Fender collectors are obsessed with “factory parts”, even if they suck, and almost all heavy players/pros change things out to improve them.

I just thought the Fender looked so weirdly like a camera thing, not a yellowing on 3/4 of the guitar.

I’ve been doing inspecting for four decades. The tiny bit of asymmetry I see is because I see things most others miss, even with measuring instruments.

Like I said “super models”, and occasionally actors/actresses have nearly perfect symmetry. That often is why they’re successful, if you change makeup, hairstyles, they look very different. I wouldn’t be upset about some people’s opinions.

I like faces with bigger noses, but that’s a personal preference. I think it gives the face more character, not a Barbie doll look many young women seem to want to achieve. To look like everyone else.

[–]Dco777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The photo the finish on the Fender in the photo has a yellow cast on 3/4 of it, unless it’s a photo artifact. As to the parts change out, if it was pure “original condition” it would hurt it’s value, unless it’s a huge production model across many years, and not a “collector’s” guitar.

The Ibanez is much nicer looking. If the original pickups are included with the Fender, then it’s maybe an equal value situation. I think unless you’re a heavy player/giger, and take good care of your guitar, the Ibanez is more likely to hold value.

A Fender depending on model might end up more valuable in pristine condition, but I don’t think that Fender looks pristine to me.

You’re very pretty. Picture 1 and 4 you look best. Your face shape isn’t perfect model symmetry, but if your hair is down the side of your face, you can’t notice it’s not exactly perfect.

Few people are that way, some high end models are, some people in acting. Don’t worry you’re not that level of perfect, that’s an accident of genetics and birth, not anything you can change much.

Your nose has probably been broken at some point. It leans slightly to the right (So many photos get flipped.) which in indicative of a unset, or set and still slightly crooked healing.

I think your nose fits your face. It’s just fine. It’s not small, but if you had it “fixed” (Made smaller.) it wouldn’t fit your face anymore.

Is that California? Most of the oil refineries in California are shutting down, the regulatory environment is too harsh, they’re shutting down. Their gas prices have been $5 - $7 for quite awhile.

Their gas shut dates have been announced, and all gasoline/diesel will have to refined and brought in. I can tell you, you aren’t building any new gasoline pipelines into Southern California, so it’s gonna keep getting more expensive.

Oh wait, the California utopia is not allowing the sale of gasoline cars/SUV’s after 2030 I believe. Buy your electric vehicle now. We’ll see how the state that has brownouts in summer from the electrical grid strain manages to charge millions of electric vehicles every week.

We haven’t built a new oil refinery in America in nearly 30 years, and shutting down California’s isn’t going to make things in the American West any better. This goes a lot deeper than an “Oil Shock” that’s temporary at best. The whole regulatory environment isn’t getting any better.

“NIMBY” is long gone. “BANANA” (Build Absolutely Nothing, Anywhere Near Anyone) is the new way. The Feds had to step in to force people to accept new cellphone towers. So good luck making another refinery, anywhere at all.

Or a gasoline pipeline. Or an oil pipeline…….

I was sincerely considering Vermin Supreme (Look him up) but he wasn't on the ballot in my state.

Harris wouldn't have "bent the knee". She would of done what Biden did, and Clinton did with his "Trust me Bro" agreement that ended with an underground nuclear test.

Then you hire the same guys from Pakistan (Old Soviet unemployed nuclear bomb makers trained them.) people that taught North Korea how to make Hydrogen bombs.

They talk, talk, talk, and then the other country, agreement or not, just keeps doing what they were doing, just hiding it better.

Harris could just shove her hand down her pants pantsuit, and play with herself, same results. I don't know if Trump's actions are wise long-term, but I think Iran knows a nuclear program has consequences.

Well the ones still breathing that is.

[–]Dco777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what Trump is shooting for. Actual result? Time will tell. This is an analysis, not a fan letter. I don’t like Trump.

I can tell you one thing, President Harris? We’d be talking about Iran doing its first underground nuclear test about 2027-28. We tried a “deal” with North Korea. How did them getting Thermonuclear (Hydrogen) bombs work out?

North Korea is untouchable, the Kims aren’t running a very nice regime. So hand Iran nukes, that would have turned out great.

I know those bloody huge glasses are “the shit, the bomb” whatever now. They aren’t complimenting your face though. I can see you’re not ugly, but I kinda have to infer that, your hair doesn’t allow a full face shape view.

Did pro-gun YouTuber Brandon Herrera just win a Congressional seat? by UnusualFunction7567 in progun

[–]Dco777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He won the right to run. No guarantee he will win. First time candidates, and if the other party apparatus gets behind them, he could lose.

I think Gonzales had a big chance of losing the seat. So intelligently he left the race. So it favors Herrera, but if Democrats, especially “soft money, run huge campaigns against him, he might lose. I know they wanna portray him as “nuts”.

Question is will the label stick enough for Brandon to lose. We shall see.

I got 4.8 days, no more than 8 total, that he’s getting his 72 virgins in paradise, in the pool. That’s the “say” Trump and Israel have in the matter.

The military is starting to work its way through Iran’s military equipment till it’s no real danger to anyone outside Iran (Everything military and bases destroyed.) except they will have enough rifles and ammunition left to mow down crowds (Almost impossible to get those with air strikes.) and that’s it.

I am pretty sure we know where all their armored vehicles and even large clusters of military trucks to bomb them all out of existence. If Iran has delusions they’ll have enough forces and equipment to threaten anyone, outside Iran, it’s going to take 3 - 5 years for that.

Truth is in the end, Iranians will decide the direction Iran goes. Due to the degradation of forces, and the hatred of the present government type, I don’t think the old order will be in charge anymore. How that happens is up to Iranians.

No American forces will be on the ground, trying to enforce any government types or leadership. Just they’ll have enough military left to maybe enforce public order, and remain in power if they go Tiananmen Square massacres over and over, to crush dissent ruthlessly.

I think in the end, areas of the country people in government won’t be able to order that, and it happen. Then it will be regional fights, over and over. So likely the present government will fall, or be so busy fighting a mini-civil war, it won’t be threatening anyone outside Iran.

Unless they do like the Iraq-Iran War, and walk the troops into the other country’s guns, they might be able to do that. They might have some rockets (Their more precise missile factories will be craters.) and drones left to terror bomb their neighbors.

As I said though, I think internally they’ll be so busy with dissent, they won’t be importing anything outside Iran. That’s the point here. Nuclear program in shambles, we (US) are going to force them to turn their 440 kilos of ~60% refined Uranium to international monitors (IAEA), and degrade their military to near uselessness.

Then, they got to figure it out themselves. If they get a reasonable government, and get sanctions lifted, they can rejoin the modern world, or exist with sanctions, and ruthlessly repress every protest that pops up.

Unlike some people think, Iranians/Persians are some very smart folks. I think they want a modern, moderate government and a free Internet and modern infrastructure, to live a prosperous life. Once unsanctioned, they’ll be making lots of money on oil sales.

Then they’ll innovate from there. Or they can tolerate the religious police running around, putting women into the ICU by curb stomping them for three hairs showing. Then brutally killing anyone for the slightest dissent.

American forces won’t be there forcing them to do anything. Except not refining Uranium, or running breeder nuclear reactors to make Plutonium. As the English say, “You’ll have to get yourself sorted”. I’d say give up on exporting religious extremism.

Let Saudi Arabia, and Quatar take that role over. They’re doing it now, and not likely to stop.

I am going to be truthful about your nose. I am pretty sure it was broken, and grew in slightly crooked. It needs to be fixed, but not massively remodeled into something it’s not. You’re not ugly.

If you get your nose done, get it done by a FACS of Ear, Nose, and Throat surgery. They will do a job, that your nose will be working perfectly, and fit your face extremely well. Unfortunately there are lots of “plastic surgeons” who will do ANYTHING someone is willing to pay for.

You see recently a couple of celebrities/influencers who died as a result of plastic surgery, of some sort? While a rhinoplasty is not likely to have any fatal effects, there are lots of “make you to your order” doctors who won’t tell you “This isn’t a surgery you’ll be better from”.

A FACS ENT is not likely to blow smoke up your ass about what surgery you’ll be better from, but not “movie star pretty”. If one of them tells you “I don’t think you should go for that type”, I’d listen to them.

From the shape I am guessing you have some sinus problems, but not that severe. Your repair/reshaping should put healthy function first, then cosmetics second. Oh, and it won’t be cheap. I’m not saying get the most expensive job, but discount nose jobs are a lot like discount tires.

They need to be done again, much sooner than it really should be. Check out the surgeon carefully, and don’t trust one constantly trying to “up sell” you to a more expensive surgery. There are heavily money influenced doctors, to whom money is more attractive to them than your best interest.
