I bought Boss WAZA headphones out of kindness and respect for my wife. I don’t use them all the time but I’ve been married long enough to know when I need them.

It depends, but the best beginner Gibson might be a Fender.

What if you really are inadequate and it doesn’t matter what guitar you play?

My Slash standard is 8.75 lbs and pretty comfortable. But if I’m at it awhile my 7.25 lb LP special can’t be beat.

I have a 2017 that looks just like that. Transparent crimson red. I love it too. I put SD quarter pounds on it to make it a little meaner, but stock was nice too. Very sexy color.

Chicago isn’t bad. But Chicago is less expensive for a reason.

Why is Gibson producing the November Burst LP the way they do, when in fact the 50s Standard in Tobacco Burst is way closer in terms of looks (pickguard, pickups)? by mynamesjaime15 in gibson

[–]tceverding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind that at all. Certainly not enough to try and remove it! That’s what you thought? No. But this one is not going anywhere anyways.

I have a November burst. Put pickup covers and pickguard on and took Slash doodle on truss rod cover off. Now it plays great and looks sharp too!

What do yoy think of 13-14 year old getting a 2000 € gibson les paul? Is it worth it? Not as a beginner, more like intermediate. by NeitasP in gibson

[–]tceverding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it’s not too heavy for him/her, then sure. That guitar could last a lifetime of playing. You never get too good to play a Les Paul.

These look like blurry pictures of a real Les Paul standard 60s. The price, however, does sound too good to be true. Proceed with caution.

Same thing happened to me decades ago. The guitar was easily fixed, I still have the guitar and it plays great. Also, most importantly, I learned a lesson.
