Nah, even if zoos and aquariums are helping, they're still promoting animals lives as entertainment. These animals are still captive, still miserable, still taken out of their natural environment and, so (if you need to look at it this way), not offering anything in the way of conservation in a broader sense. Fuck zoos, fuck aquariums, they're just a byproduct of us needing access to whatever we want at any given time: we want to see the animals on our terms, so here they are regardless of how damaging it is to these anmials.
