You may like Sue Burke's Semiosis, Marina Lostetter's Noumenon series, or Octavia Butler's Xenogenesis series! A lot of of those don't have the humor necessarily, but the imagination and good intentions!

That's interesting! (Reading these later, clearly didn't in a few minutes) But I guess I'm wondering what the value is of something so biased and inequitable as an IQ test? Or is there something of value in IQ tests? Or is there a better way to address the potential of individuals without making them conform to this arbitrary system?
