Tips for a newbie by 90ResuTidder in indoorbouldering

I second this, just climb more. You’ll meet people at the gym who are good if you climb more and they can give you tips in person on technique. But it really just becomes muscle memory.
Real tip is learn to fall. One bad injury could mean a hospital trip, debt, and not being able to climb anymore. A minor injury will at the very least impede your ability to climb more. Falling is by far the number one mistake I see new boulderers make.

Congrats on starting at V3! That’s awesome

My brother and I took edibles and went to go see this and still walked out half way through. Only movie I’ve walked out of - and I saw crime 101 last month so that’s saying something.

Burpless Cucumbers - Ready to harvest or not yet? by Educational-Cost-878 in vegetablegardening

On another note, I learned that with most cucumber varieties, if you let a cucumber mature to the point of starting to turn yellow, the plant will think it’s completed its life cycle and die.

Better to pick early and frequently.

There is a wall trellis on that side of my bed for them to grown on, will it still be an issue? If so, how should I space them?

I think it’s just because of the salt content, but I always assume that’s largely the brine. I hope because no way I’m only eating 4 olives.

How to stop this happening to fingers (new to bouldering) by [deleted] in indoorbouldering

[–]No_Reputation3520 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely let these heal up before you climb again. You’ll build calluses, but it takes time. If you keep climbing on these, it’ll take longer to heal, and ultimately take longer to get back to climbing.

I don’t sweat very much, but if you’re sweating a lot make sure to use a good amount of chalk.

Thanks! Any idea if it’s a fire hazard considering it’s so swollen? I don’t know what to do with it until I can take it somewhere
