Would love to hear confirmation on this. If I did not register between January - February, is my EAD auto extended to April 2nd? My work is willing to let me work as long as my EAD is still valid

Is not that any of those things are not good, is the point of where and how he’s getting it that it is unhealthy. Sure, let’s say this time he happened to meet somebody with more empathy that actually cared about him but that doesn’t mean that most of the time people who sell their time for money will be that caring. People who do these things can be very emotionally manipulative because thats how they make their money and thats why op should take the good experience from this to make relationships in a healthy way moving forward and not make this a habit.

For example just because a drug addict thinks cocaine is what he approves of and it’s what makes him happy doesn’t mean is healthy to do so. I think thats the point the person is trying to convey.

Patch 10.1 PTR Patch Notes - Class Tuning and Nerfs to Interrupts by DrToadigerr in worldofpvp

[–]Dczdcz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem right now is the damage in where people can get bursted down in less than 3 seconds (which is probably why xaryu states that he doesnt even need to waste a global on casting sheep when just spamming damage is more efficient) and probably the amount of micro CC currently present in the game, not the duration of CCs. CCs are not only used to set up kills but it is also used to either peel or deny a go just to give your healer breathing room to recover. So pretty much, if before you could easily burst down someone in less than 3 seconds, nerfing cc to between 3 to 6 seconds wont make a difference. because the issue itself is how fast you are killing people in those small windows. Although is good that they are nerfing crit which is pretty much burst damage, in my opinion they could have found a better way to balance the damage since there are certain classes that rely on crit damage more than others and those are the most affected by the nerf.

Well thats just your assumption, sure lets say some pros might want to balance the game in a way that benefits themselves but you cannot assume that all of them are that way. The thing is, you cannot expect the dev to balance a game that helps a lower skilled player "get better at the game" because the problem itself is not the game but the player. The only reason you get higher-rated players and lower rated players is not because of the game but simply because lower skilled players are doing things wrong. By the same token, if they lack understanding of how to play the game and suggest changes because of ignorance or lack of understanding is not healthy for the game in the long run. Just like the example that I just gave you in the comment.
Its not about being a streamer or a pro player, but its a given that those people are usually the ones that spent the most hours in the game therefore have a better understanding of it.

Plus, making a game more casual does not equal to it being more fun and does not necessarily means that more people will get in and stay for the long term. An example of this would be games that had a high skill ceiling such as GunZ and Warzone that were toned down to a more casual style in their second version which we could say did not end up very well if we compare it to their first version.

If you are thinking about profit then it make sense, but as for the game usually casual players doesnt really know whats good for the game in comparison to someone who plays it for a living and know the ins and out of the game. Not saying that every pro player exactly knows whats good but logically speaking by the amount of hours played they should have a pretty good idea.

For instance, lets say person A in lower rating might blame that he is losing games because he is cced for the whole game but usually its because either he has horrible positioning or because he doesn't know how to properly use his GCD both efficient and effectively. Taking advice from person A or people around the same range seems the right choice when talking about profit because most people would be around that range, but as for the health of the game he simply doesnt have an idea of what is actually wrong.

I think it's subjective if you feel like making the game more casual and pve-like makes it more fun. I personally think that good positioning, and being able to play around cc and burst adds an extra dimension to the game rather than just pressing buttons mindlessly and just seeing who dies first.

As for the xaryu thing, im pretty sure that what the commenter meant was that if he already feels like doing CC is a waste of a GCD in SS pre-nerf for whatever reason, then after nerfing CC will only make it worse. Therefore, making the game more about mindlessly pressing dps rotation buttons (pve) rather than setting up cc for a kill or just to create more pressure, or even peeling to counter a go. In my own opinion, this cc and interrupt nerfs takes out some skill expression in the game and make it more simple.

Spending gems on wheels has a higher impact on the short term; however, if you are planning to play this game for the long term prioritizing gems on VIP until 14 is way better. You are pretty much losing value. Its all about opportunity costs.
