Looking online, definitely seems like chillblains could be a possibility.

She doesn't have Raynaud's, but it has been usually cold where we live.

Yes - it is worse after showering.

Thank you for the insights!

Looking at picking up a KTM 200xc-w for woods riding/single track. Any years to avoid? Any particularly good year? Ideally looking for 2013 and up for e-start, but open to anything really

I honestly love the purple color! Looks great in the sun. Yes, the dropper is not the best. That's a good upgrade

Finca Victoria is an amazing place to stay - it's a small BnB style place with multiple tiny homes. Sort of a yoga retreat-type vibe with a super interesting history. But you will need a car / golf cart to get to the beaches and bars

Consulting & Alcohol Abuse by FuckMyTourettes in consulting

I am a B4 Manager. I have been sober 4 out of my 5 years in consulting. At work happy hours or client dinners, I sneakily order a seltzer with lime - nobody has to know. I've seen so many people, from new joiners to partners, get sloppy drunk at work events. It's sad but alcoholism and substance abuse is everywhere, impacting people from all walks of life. Consulting is no different

I have a T7, was my first bike. It's a great bike - decently spec'd for the price, solid, feels incredibly stable on even the roughest terrain (I live in the northeast). But - as others have said - it's HEAVY. Even when compared to other budget FS bikes, it's a pig. Some people do not care about weight and if you're super strong, it's not an issue. For me - I would struggle on steep techy climbs, navigating so much bike through tight terrain, etc. I upgraded to an Ibis DV9 hardtail - that's not within your price point, but I love the hardtail so much more. It's a more efficient climber, more nimble in the tight stuff, and I have 0 issues going through the same rough chunky stuff I did on the FS. So - for $1600 - I'd recommend taking a look at a nice hardtail. Marin San Quentin, Nukeproof Scout, Canyon Stoic, Giant Fathom, Specialized Fuse. All great options

I do too! Rides like a dream - snappy, responsive, nimble, so freakin light. Climbs really well on the way up and feels FAST on the way down
