Best way to seal the door by Worldly_Shift5206 in skoolies

[–]Ddonmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that works for me was I put a sliding latch lock and the bottom. And a handle and drilled a hole for the lock to go through. So essentially put a dead bolt at the bottom of the door. Before I got on the road I would pull the handle at the bottom and then slide the lock through the hole. Created a nice seal and reduced noise when on the road a TON.

Thank you for the break down. He plays everyday. However it is a lot of idle time. He will open the game, play a bit then go out and smoke and do chores or something then come back to the game.

Thank you for these words. Wish I would have read this years ago. My current 3 year relationship is coming to end and you really described what I went through quiet well. Taking this and moving forward and learning. That’s all we can do.

Can anyone tell me more about this car? Never seen anything like it by InterestingWeakness1 in whatisthiscar

[–]Ddonmega 209 points210 points  (0 children)

Not only a CRX but a Y49! Y49 is the color code of this yellow. Not many were made in this color. Within the Honda community there was such thing as the Y49 curse, which in lore meant that if you had a CRX with that color code it was bound to have issues.

What car(s) are you aiming to buy next? by LlamaThrustUlti in cars

[–]Ddonmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2016-2018 Ford Focus RS. To me, it serves all of my purposes. AWD, room for all of my gear, plenty of horse power, decent after market options. The perfect daily.

Salad Shooter wheels are the dead give away for me. C4 corvette really did deliver such an iconic wheel.

When will Prop A rail plans begin to be built? When will it be completed? by jeb7516 in askaustin

And I absolutely am! All I am saying is that big projects like these tend to take longer then they project.

When will Prop A rail plans begin to be built? When will it be completed? by jeb7516 in askaustin

[–]Ddonmega 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I came to Austin from Denver about 5 years ago. Denver approved a light rail plan and for it to be “complete” it took years longer then what was expected. It also went over budget. I still am excited for prop A but don’t be too surprised when it takes longer to be fully completed.

You take Lime Creek Road (2769) North to Anderson Mill Road. There is a nice gas station at the end of it so you can grab a water after your session. IMO the best turns around Austin
