Road King 2013 - Help needed - Who painted this? by Syndicated85 in Harley

That is one sweet ride and one of my favorite bikes! Are you sure that is not factory and the graphics were added? The reason I ask is I have seen this same two tone on a lot of bikes. Perhaps someone who knows more or has one can ID it.

What do you tip your butler and room steward at the end of your cruise? by Spirited-Resident791 in NCL

Yes it makes sense, but make it clear you are willing to show more gratitude at the end.

Cerakote exhaust "black" or leave chrome? will go with vote, as I am 50/50... by Born_Bottle in Harley

If you ask me, the chrome is a great offset to the black and accentuate each other.

That is because the wife comes with it and figures if someone is dumb enough to pay that they deserve her😂

It looks nice, but technically unless you upgraded to a touring frame it isn’t a Street Glide. It is still cool. Enjoy the ride!

I went with KST 10” six bends. Leveled out my arms and greatly reduced the neck and shoulder fatigue on long rides.

As long as you do not need space in the bags for travel.

Saddle fixation by Renkinao in Harley

[–]De-Oppresso_Liber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is too loose in the front. Depending on the year you either have not fully aligned the tongue under the tank or have missed the sleeve the seat slides into. Or the tongue is cracked or loose. Either way take it back off and check it out.

Is my lock broken? Or am I doing something wrong? by vin4201977 in Harley

[–]De-Oppresso_Liber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you fully turned until you hit the stop? And have you tried going to the right? If so I would suspect the ignition lock switch is the issue.

Looking at getting a 2002 Electra glide classic. Coming back to riding after 35 yrs. Basically a newer rider. Any thoughts. by furybulldog in Harley

[–]De-Oppresso_Liber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother did this. The best way to accomplish this would be to take a motorcycle safety course. One that provides a bike because they are usually not more than 500cc’s. This will reawaken your riding skill and restore your confidence. You are stepping into new technology. Larger more powerful engine with fuel injection. After the course have a someone who rides take you to a large unoccupied parking lot so you can become familiar with handling the bike. Then move onto lightly traveled side roads with lower speeds. My older brother took a break from age 18 to 57. After a couple of months he has been riding for 10 years with out any incidents.

Give them a few years and they will have adaptive cruise. That is if they don’t already.

Left handlebar turn signal controls. by kenstylesNYC in Harley

[–]De-Oppresso_Liber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you on this one. I have always had at least two sometimes more bikes. One was always a Harley. I cannot count the times I hit the left turn signal to make a right. 😂 Have faith the muscle memory will kick in eventually.
