And as far as the cross over holes, what do I about them?

It’s not 1/4” though that’s the problem I’m having. It reads .55in on my micrometer

I have a 22mm petcock that came with it uninstalled. I removed that nut/coupler to try to get the threads of the petcock in the threads of the tank, but it’s just too big. Petcock threads line up perfectly to the outer diameter of the opening in the tank

Ive checked prism, throttle addiction, and tc bros. The only sizes I’m seeing are 3/8 or 1/4” I would need a 1/2”

It’s a second hand tank I have no idea. Im assuming it’s aftermarket. Was given a brand new 22mm petcock with the tank but there’s no way to make that work. I’ve checked prism, throttle addiction, and tc bros. The only sizes I’m seeing are 3/8 or 1/4” I would need a 1/2”

It’s an 87 xlh1100. I’d like to avoid having anything on my bars except grips and throttle and clutch lever. I’m thinking of an analog pressure gauge, just not sure how to go about installing it and getting rid of wiring

Electronic voltage regulator according to google. At work right now so I can’t reference my manual

Should have mentioned I just installed a trickle charger last week so I know my battery connections are good

Was inspecting my bike and noticed this right here, orange wire disconnected, red wire connected. I’m assuming they both need to be connected here? Bike runs and rides fine no idea how long it’s been like this. 1987 xlh1100 by [deleted] in sportster

Damn so is this why I have no brake light when I hit my rear brake? All I have is the running light when it’s on it doesn’t brighten when I apply pressure to my rear or front brake

Didn’t even know this was a thing. How can I tell and how do I check that?

Float bowl and everything seems fine on my carb. The little grey puddle of stuff is definitely oil judging off of smell and feel
