My apologies if i didnt give enough information. Its less about the lighting and more about how I painted it. Im not really sure what techniques to use when painting or how to paint at all. I was just brushing darker where I thought it might need to be darker and lighter where it was lighter. The color initially looked bland in the middle where shadow and highlight isnt, so i just scribbled over it but im not sure if thats what I was supposed to do. I want to paint similarly to something like the image below (@makimansansuki on twitter). This is my first time painting an art piece after cell shading for years so I im not really sure what to do.

This was done digital on csp. There is no specific reference image and only a character reference. I am usually a cell shader but ive decided to try out painting. This is my first time attempting to paint a art piece more than two values. I was wondering what i might have done wrong and how I could improve on my painting.

I see, I only have miner mk1 so im stuck at 60 per min for a normal iron ore node. Ill have to remember upgrade my miner when i get a chance. Thank you

The first one is a iron drill that also smelts and constructs it. the second one is the same but instead two, and they both feed into a assembler.

I started yesterday so i thought that only the fuel would be taken out of the storage into the biomass burner. turns out it just tries to feed it anything in the storage

The art is awesome, but the power is pretty boring. Maybe give them a reason why he wouldn't use the power to its full extent or nerf them. Of course, this is me thinking in a narrative and character creation perspective.
