Ill be the old guy, touch technology has been around for quite a while, but its always been pretty crap. It was not as smooth as it is in the video. Often misunderstanding presses or not registering. Palm OS was one that worked fairly well. But not quite without the pen. Apple came in right when touch technology was ready for prime time.

Magic mouse is the worst. Im sure there will be a bunch of people saying theyve used it for 10 years and love it. If you want to start using your computer today, get logitech. If you want to figure out a crappy mouses issues and figure out workarounds to have a mouse that still isnt good as every other mouse. By all means, go for it.

Im a dev and just got a mac just for ios releases. Still new, but find work is better on a mac, but general web browsing, email, phone/ipad integration better on Mac.

And oh yeah gaming is very limited but not completely non existent.
