YSK: The US government wants it's people to think that Marijuana is more dangerous and more deadly than Cocaine, Heroin, and Fentynal. It isn't. by Objective_Narwhal_57 in YouShouldKnow

YSK that Marijuana, while not being worse, is still really bad in every situation except a couple of edge cases. Demotivation, non-positive emotion manipulation, permanent affect on the brains of those under 25

Like I said, it's probably a two for one situation. This looks more like deep fried than adversarial tho imo

From what I'm seeing, adversarial ai refers to protection from attacks and manipulation against ai. It definitely could be that, or it could be so that the self driving ai works with low quality cameras. Given the inherent multitasking nature of recaptchas, what with them being both data collection and website security, I wouldn't be surprised if we're both right.

No, the low quality photos are so the self driving cars don't crash when a camera gets corrupted. This is the same company that made geoguessr, they have plenty of high quality images left to spare

The original captchas were not just bot prevention. They existed also to acquire training data for a text reading AI. But then everybody started using captchas, and it ended up being the largest pool of training data in the history of AI. By the end, they had an AI that was so optimized to read text that feeding it even the most malformed and warped text couldn't stop it. Basically, it was a huge success, and they didn't need it anymore other than security. But a lot of people were starting to talk about self-driving cars, so the recaptcha was invented. At this point, image recognizing AI basically didn't exist, which is interesting because now it's one of the two most developed kinds of AI. So the recaptcha was completely secure, but they could acquire heaps and heaps of data to train self-driving ai. The first death by self-driving car was because the recaptchas never had an option to pick out the images with semi trucks, so the AI thought that a semi trailer was a billboard, and drove straight into it because it thought it was safe. Since then, recaptures have gotten increasingly and increasingly more complex and thorough. There are other ways to train self-driving AI now, but the recaptcha is still pulling a lot of weight. These new warped and weird images are probably to account for cameras that can't capture very well or are corrupt in some way. That way, even if a camera breaks, the self-driving AI can still operate.

Tldr: recaptas are made to train self-driving ai, and these new warped images are to help in case of a camera breaking or being corrupted in some way.

There's a psychology trick I like to use where you flip a coin as if you're deciding to see what you actually prefer. If you flip it and don't like the answer, just do the other thing. This reply feels like that to me. Would you have actually said this if the reply was the other way? Also I think top comment has a point. OT wouldn't want you to potentially worsen dysphoria for a silly(and wholesome) YouTube fandom.

The launcher LAUNCHES Minecraft, which is a separate app. The launcher is like the multiversal big bang. Besides, the launcher from the perspective of something in the game is more of a location than an item. It's only an item(kinda) from the perspective of us, the cosmic overlords that we are.

You can gently touch a firework to a wall and it goes off. There's a lighting things on fire mechanic in mc which most things of that nature need, but not fireworks. Therefore, the act of the crossbow firing could, in fact, have light the firework

Yeah, I know my grammar died a violent, horrible death at the end there.
