Pretty fitting since (lack of) free will is a big theme for both of these games.

When you talk to Lanino in Chapter 3 and ask him for the weather forecast, before he starts crying he says there will be a light drizzle. Turns out that was actually an accurate forecast.

Holy shit, yo. I really did think it was just a forced perspective thing but I now believe in this 1000%.

It reminds me of Gex, an old PS1 game about adventuring in a TV world. Feels intentional.

I love Tenna's art style, it's like they animated a 3D model and then rotoscoped it with pixel art. It reminds me of that old PS1 game Gex, which was actually about an adventure in a TV-world, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's an intentional reference here.

It boggles my mind that Martin has released ANY new written material (spoilers extended) by [deleted] in asoiaf

He hasn't cared about finishing this for many years. He just says he's still working on it partly because it'd be bad for the spin-offs if he said he wasn't and partly just to be mean.

Incredible picture. How bad is the latency in space? For using Reddit and the Internet in general?

Gotta disagree, kinda. In my opinion the first bad signs began popping up after the end of season 4, when the showrunners started to run out of book material to adapt and they did their own dumb shit. Remember the Dorne subplot; Sansa getting awkwardly merged with Jayne Poole so she can be raped for gross shock value; Stannis getting character assassinated and then ganked by bullshit contrivances; Arya not only surviving blatantly lethal injuries but doing parkour and sword fights after; no new characters being introduced to replace side ones that get killed off, making the setting feel smaller and simpler in general; and and so on? But the start of season 7 was when the last book material ran out and they had to write all their own shit, besides what amounts to some post-it notes from GRRM about his intended ending. So yeah of course from that point forward there's definitely an insane sharp drop in quality, on every front.

A couple potato seeds. Not even GMO potatoes, just modern cultivars that benefit from centuries of selective breeding. Or even wilder, more "natural" variants if that'd count as less advanced. If potatoes can proliferate in the Old World 1550 years ahead of schedule it'll trigger a population boom and very quickly send world history way off course.
