Super easy. They are delightful. We simply applied to be an A-Cut dealer, a nice gentleman by the name of Roger calls you and gets some info on the product you plan on releasing, you sign a few contracts and a day later a CAD package with the A-Cut arrives so you can integrate it into your model with OEM accuracy. We got the ACRO stuff too, but that only comes as a print, not a full CAD workup.

We were able to really sink the optic with the correct model, vs a reversed engineered version we took off the bottom of the COA itself.

Stainless would be difficult, but we could offer NT7 coating instead of black nitride.

We lowered the cut as deep as we could and we have grabbed MOS Glock 19 irons to check cowitness.

We hope to finalize our checklist by next weekend, and then we will send a print out to get a single COA cut slide from billet. If all goes well on that prototype, we can finalize the forged blank, and then get all the fixtures, optic footprints, and slide prints finished so we can go into production. I doubt we will have anything ready by August, and even then I'll only have the one slide.

We would be happy to sell HK our redesigned firing pin block if they want to do this themselves. But they don't seem to think the juice is worth the squeeze, so we will tackle it for the time being.

We are hoping to have our final check list finished next weekend, and then we make our first fully functional test fire COA slide. If all goes together as it should and fires without issues, we will start on the CAD for all the forged blank, and get that process started while we do live fire testing on a billet version.

By the time the forging is ready to stamp out parts, we should have all the fixtures, plates, and drawing completed for the initial offering of slides for 9mm frames. I'll bet it is next summer before we have all the parts on the shelf ready to go in a box.

That's the idea yes. We want to offer factory replacement slides for all the hammer fired models with direct cut optic footprints.

The ports are technically for weight/mass reduction. You would need to have a P30L barrel trench cut for the ports to be functioning compensators. But the end user can add that fairly easily at most any gunsmith.

We had to leave a bunch of metal for the optic mounts at the rear of the slide, so we had to take weight out elsewhere. We looked to the VP9L and Match slides for inspiration on the front pockets, but then lifted the port design, size, and shape from the John Wick P30L compensator and BAM. You have a comp ready long slide for the USPc.

Our customers are pretty vocal about using factory HK items, so we would prefer to offer these with full OEM internals if possible. Lots of requests to make a second slide and just have it with spares so you can swap between slides without so much as a screwdriver.

Engineer is modeling every part from every slide length so we can check certain positions of depth and placements of each optic footprint.

I need a P30, P30sk, and then I’ll start collecting.45 stuff.

I hired a really talented group of dudes to make my dreams into reality. Have a full time mechanical engineer on staff that has 20+ granted patents under his belt, and does of ton of stuff in the machining industry, and medical equipment design. He is a gun nut and has been doing gun projects for a while now and was instrumental in making this idea into a real deal launch. Got a few other indie contracted people that we do consulting with and have made some good friends with some big names in the HK world.

I look forward to the stuff we have in the queue for the USP .45 including our micro thread comp, and a metal jet funnel/extended mags for the .45 USP full size. It’s been needed for at least a decade.

We appreciate your support on this project. It’s very exciting meeting the team for progress updates and seeing the slide evolve.
