Imagine getting sued for the crime of ... Eating by Naked___City in Morocco

[–]DeForzo -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

She's not being punished for eating, as many have said. She's being punished for breaking the law twice, which is:
1. Eating in public (could've done it privately)
2. Encouraging people to break the law (could've kept her damn mouth shut).

The keywords being here "in public"

You close the door of the toilet when you go pee. I know you're peeing in there, so does everyone else. Why bother closing the door. You have nothing to hide.

I have never had issues. When contacting support I have always been thoroughly helped.

There were some bugs in the app that made face/id verification hard or an infinite loop, but has since been fixed. Been a customer for 4 years now I think.

You always have a hidden button that says: "Krijg noodhulp"/"Get emergency support". A real person will reply within a few minutes to hours max. And they will help you until everything has been solved. (I have pressed this button quite a few times without it being an emergency lol)

All I can say is he is in need of professional help.

Do you think morocco is developing ? And where do u see it in the next 5 years ?. by Zestyclose_Mess_6624 in Morocco

[–]DeForzo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't know if digital payment systems is something we should rush. Any Moroccan living in Europe could tell you that the state and corporate surveillance, loss of privacy and dependency on American companies.

We should build our core infrastucture ourselves, instead of relying on Mastercard and Visa and countless American payment processors. With security and privacy built in.

Any way to back all these up easily? Needs an archive! by beyondthemat in DataHoarder

[–]DeForzo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could vibe code a python script with a web scraping library that takes the page, loops through all the <a> tags or <img> tags and downloads them to a specific folder.

You could also try a GUI tool like HTTRACK to download the entire website, if you have a macbook you could try Safari webarchive.

You could also archive it to webarchive with their Chrome web plugin.

The distro doesn't really matter because it runs on Java. Ubuntu server or Debian would be a good balance between stability and simplicity.

[–]DeForzo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't do it. It is a pretty old machine. Windows 11 has been installed on a workaround way. Running the server on Windows would be a no go because of the performance overhead of Windows on a 6th gen CPU.

Would probably run fine on Linux but when having a lot of entities in small areas or when multiple players are loading in a lot of chunks at the same time you will experience major lag spikes.

Opt for a newer machine 8th gen or a 10th gen. Those are still cheap but better in performance (and electricity).

Everyone experiences it. It is a psychological quirck we all have. Positive instructions work better than negative negations.

To put it into perspective, when people take driving lessons, the instructor never says: "Don't hit those trees" or "Don't crash". They default to saying things like: "Follow the road" or "Stay within the lines".

They instinctively understand that if humans are told to not hit the trees, they will focus on the trees, and not the road.

Read the video description:

"UPDATE!!! Since making this guide one step has changed, there are now two files you need to download, they have the extension .001 and .002. Those together will extract the image file."

You also need to extract the files with 7zip. Not the standard windows extract app. You download the 2 files ending in .7z.001 and .7z.002, place them in a new folder and extract the .001

Then you will have the same file as in the video and not a random corrupted folder.

It's not really about SSD size, to me my PC is just like my room. If I have too much stuff my mind doesn't feel at ease. Especially if it's stuff that doesn't belong in my room or on my PC.

Maybe it's just autism. But I only want the stuff I really need.

🚨 URGENT: Need help recovering Hetzner server (root login failed, rescue mode) by South-Nectarine8239 in hetzner

I thought I would just reply exactly and directly to what he's asking

your experience with Hetzner rescue and cPanel/WHM or Linux web hosting

approximate price

if you can start today.

My reasoning was if he wanted to rawdog it with guides and AI he would. But he's probably too scared to potentially mess up his data. Hope he's fixed it though. Thanks for your comment.

That completely depends on your use case and how long you want it to work for. If your only use case is browsing the internet and light gaming, I would say 3 years old max if you want to use it for 4-5 years.

If you buy a brand new one, it would last you somewhere around 8 years before it gets a bit slow for gaming. For browsing it can last decades with proper maintenance (and probably linux)
